Imminence In Argentina, symphonic metalcore, absolute perfection.

Sept 27th. Teatro Flores Argentina

It was a spring Saturday, a slightly cool evening for this time of year, and we were about to have an unforgettable evening. The Swedes landed in Argentina for the first time, bringing with them all their power and influence.

Opening the night with the local band “In Element”, formed in 2003, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, we had the pleasure of enjoying a dynamic and attractive show.

The lights dimmed, and the members of Imminence began to take the stage. Starting with the great song “Temptation,” a real crowd-pleaser, the fans were jumping around and singing along enthusiastically.

Eddie Berg, with an incredible vocal performance and his violin playing, gives us all goosebumps.

Harald Barrett is the second vocalist and lead guitarist, with his amazing hair and his stage presence.

Christian Höjier on bass, Alex Arnoldsson on guitars, and Peter Hanström on drums create a complete and perfect sound.
Next up was one of the band’s classic songs, “Erase,” from their album Turn the Light On, released in 2019.
We had a wonderful instrumental moment, enjoying violin solos performed by Eddie and Harald, who used a violin bow to conclude the performance of ‘L’appel du Vide’.
The end of a show that would leave a lasting impression on all of us was approaching, but not before they played Imminence’s most beautiful song, “God Fearing Man.” The audience went absolutely wild (and I was right there with them!). What a perfect song, truly flawless! They closed the show with “The Black,” leaving us feeling energized!

I would have loved to hear more songs like “Lighthouse” and “Jaded” live; that’s just my personal preference as a listener of the band! Overall, it was a magnificent show, with great sound, an impressive stage show, and powerful vocals! We can’t wait for their next visit!
