Not only is Billy Idol still dancing, he’s still rocking
Nov 15th, Movistar Arena Argentina
When we talk about rock legends, Billy Idol automatically comes to mind: rebellious, funny, sexy, and an incredible musician. What more can be said about this great artist!

After 9 pm, the long-awaited moment arrived, and Billy and his band took the stage, starting with “Still Dancing”, the lead single from his new album, Dream Into It.
Idol worked the entire stage from the start, roaming, sauntering, and swaggering around, and encouraged the audience to participate. He was still as strong as in his beginnings, and his voice carried perfectly.

It was the turn of “Flesh for Fantasy,” which still smolders live, Steve Stevens carving out those guitar licks. The audience was getting warmed up minute by minute, song by song.
After “Eyes Without a Face,” it was time for the great Steve Stevens (guitarist of Billy’s early days) with a spectacular acoustic guitar solo – with references to Led Zeppelin’s “Over the Hills and Far Away” and, cheekily, a bit of “Stairway to Heaven,” He then went into a bit of Eddie Van Halen’s “Eruption,” which was received with a great ovation.

Billy and his band (Stephen McGrath on bass and backing vocals, Billy Morrison on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Erik Eldenius on drums, and Paul Trudeau on keyboards and backing vocals) return to the stage to perform “Mony Mony”.
Then “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore,” which Idol sang with backup singer Kitten Kuroi, who held some high notes.
The songs that followed were “Ready Steady Go,” a Generation X track from his punk roots.
The real fireworks came in the final stretch. When the opening riff of “Rebel Yell” hit, the audience exploded in screams and jumps with one of the iconic anthems of the great Billy.
Billy and his band left the stage for a few minutes, only to return to close the great night with one of the most iconic songs of the legendary artist, “Dancing With Myself” kept the momentum high, the crowd jumping, transforming the Movistar Arena into an 80s. And then “Hot in the City” landed. To close the night, the inevitable “White Wedding.”
All that remains to be said is that seeing Billy on stage rejuvenates us all; he transmits a unique energy. Thank you, Billy, for this unforgettable night! Come back soon!
