Riverside’s first visit to Argentina
Last Thursday, March 28th, we had the pleasure to see for the first time in Argentina, with more than 20 years of career the Polish progressive rock band Riverside, at the Palermo Groove.
Opening the night is the Argentine band Presto Vivace, founded by the fantastic musician, bassist, and composer “Marcelo Perez Schneider” The band is a national pride, its sound is perfect, and the vocalist Brunella Boloco Boye has incredible vocal ranges. Presto Vivace will be performing next May 18th at the Teatrito, Buenos Aires Argentina!
The crowd very expectant awaited, and the big moment came, with an audience of all ages, but mostly older people, which surprised me at a progressive rock show, but with the energy and enthusiasm of any teenager, Riverside took the stage and the audience screaming so excited! Mariusz Duda with an unmatched charism like the keyboardist Michał Łapaj, In general, the complete band with a beautiful energy that reached us in a very special way.
A funny moment was when Mariusz started talking about his style of music, saying that they are not a metal band, with a lot of noise, making sounds with his mouth like an electric guitar with extreme riffs, The cutest thing was when he said that the audience was the fifth member of the band.
The audience chants constantly Ohh Ohh something very classic of the Argentina crowd, with the band so excited to see the enthusiasm and joy of their fans.
It was a wonderful little more than two hours, with a delightful Setlist, and unmatched energy!
