The Vaccines rocked the rainy Sunday night in Argentina
The band led by the great Justin Hayward-Young (vocalist) returned to Argentina after more than 10 years since their first visit.
On this occasion, it was in the Teatro Vorterix, last Sunday, November 24.
The Vaccines open with “Love To Walk Away“, from their latest album Pick-Up Full Of Pink Carnations, immediately followed by “Wreckin’ Bar (Ra Ra Ra)” from 2011 debut What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? The audience started screaming and singing at the top of their lungs from the very beginning.
Then they played a doubleheader of debut tracks – Post “Break-Up Sex” and “Wetsuit”, Justin Young’s vocals were as sharp as ever.
The beloved Justin did not stop interacting with the fans, who once commented that their 2024 tour was being finalized in our country, which motivated the crowd to encourage the band more and more with fervor.
Something that surprised me as a reviewer of metal bands, I didn’t expect the mosh pit that occurred at this show, the fans forming the well-known mosh circle during the hit song “If You Wanna”
As the night ended, the crowd begged for more. Then a little break the band returned to the stage for a very great Encore, closing the set with 2018’s “All My Friends Are Falling In Love”.
The band sounded perfect, going through songs from their entire repertoire, and satisfying their fans.
The Vaccines proved why they have such a loyal following, closing their tour with a powerful performance.
