Alcen La Voz 2025

Last Saturday February 8th at the Teatro Flores, a festival was held in which many Argentine post-hardcore bands were seen, which are all friendly bands and are seen at various events, this time under the name “Alcen la Voz” 

To open this festival was “muneki77a,” a young national promise whose beginnings were recording covers on social networks with her beastly voice. She moved those who were there and were arriving and was grateful to those who had arrived early. “Imsiby, another boy who teaches how to scream both in videos and by giving classes, came on stage, and people appreciated him a lot. 

The second band to take the stage was the guys from “En la Verdad“ which band has two singers who both scream and clean, playing 8 songs to be precise, with only one album and several singles there is something to talk about on stage. 

As the third band it was the turn of “All for Love“, a band that was on the scene several years ago, was dissolved and today is more alive than ever, since their return people always receive them with open arms and moshpit.

The fourth band of the night was “El Nueve Once”, a band led by Nazareno, former singer of the band “Deny”, who has been in a band for very little time but following the people is as if he had a lot of time, the power on top of the stage and the years on stage are seen in each song with Naza scream when playing the last song it is a very common thing for the band to approach the audience and sing in the middle of the people until the guitarist and bassist come down to the rounds.

It was the turn of the “Mi Ultima Solución” band behind the drums you could see a flag with the colors of the LGBT community giving a message to the government against the rights of the people, Sebastian always being as real on stage as he is in his lyrics, the audience had almost filled the theater and you could see large circles doing moshpit. At one point in the show, they had to stop because there was a problem at the beginning of a song the bass which was solved immediately. At the end of the show, as they have been doing in recent years, they played “Wherever You Are” to which they began to throw beach balls at the audience from above the stage. 

To finish this festival with their sixth band was “Melian”, a band with a fairly large career and with a lot of movement in the post-hardcore scene, nowadays it can be put at the top. 

The band covered several songs from their entire discography, there was a small detail in which the band had the loss of its bassist who decided to go to Spain on a new path and Sergio took his place, a boy from Asuncion in Paraguay joined the band’s path, playing as if he had been in it for years. Songs like “memento vivere”, “Alaska”, “La Nightmare”, and “Montañas” were played and to close this festival Alejandro asked if anyone liked Linkin Park, and all Flores answered with a loud “Yessss”, to which the chords of “One Step Closer” began to which the members of all the bands that had previously passed began to rise and this brought this great festival to a close.
