Dischord! Venezuela Rocked Uniclub!

Last Saturday, August 17th, the Venezuelan Metal band Dischord, returned to the Argentine stages after 7 years.

On a cold winter night, upon arriving at the place you could feel the Caribbean vibe and warmth of the crowd.

Opening the evening an Argentine band that has pleasantly surprised me, ” AJENO” sludge/groove instrumental metal, with only three members (Drums, Bass, and Guitar) made us feel their power! I recommend you listen to it.

Continuing with a very youthful band, I dare say, teenagers, “CLAMOR” giving it their all to energize the audience.

The long-awaited moment of the night arrived, “DISCHORD” took the stage and the crowd exploded!!

The frontman, Víctor Villanueva, interacted in a very nice and fun way with his fans throughout the show, who approached the stage and shared the microphone so they could sing with him.

The emotional moment of the night (which touched our hearts, deep down) was when they played the song “An Open Letter” dedicated to Victor’s recently deceased father.

Later, they gave us two of their songs in Spanish “El Culpable Eres Tú” and “Obligado a Dejar”.

The show was almost over, but the surprises were not yet, Victor came down from the stage to be part of the mosh pit and sing with his fans.

Of course, the show discussed political issues that Venezuela is going through, showing support for freedom. It was a unique night, in which we not only enjoyed great rock but also saw the unity, passion, and big heart that characterizes the Venezuelan people.
