H.E.A.T a night of pure glam rock
Last Sunday, May 4th, El Teatrito hosted a night of pure glam and hard rock by the Swedish band H.E.A.T. Despite the fact that a strong storm was forecast (which occurred at the end of the show), it did not stop their fans, who completely filled the venue.
Opening the evening 3 Argentinian bands, Arpeghy, El Foco and Karkaman.
Arpeghy, wow Every time I see this band I am left speechless, but what leaves me most breathless is Mariano Middleton’s voice.
Then it was El Foco‘s turn, with 10 years of experience, playing hard rock and heavy/speed metal, with 2 studio albums, they made it clear to us the great presence they have on stage!
Finally, before the most anticipated part of the night, Karkaman played, doing some perfect covers, this time with a new singer, who is at the level of how good the band sounds.
Now yes!! The wait is over! H.E.A.T took the stage, starting with “Disaster” (“from the new album,” April 2025), The audience burst into screams automatically.

Kenny Leckremo, dressed in a sharp leather jacket, his long hair, and his powerful voice captivates the entire crowd. The rhythm section of Jimmy Jay and Don Crash is a rock-solid foundation, their interplay locking in seamlessly with Jona Tee’s shimmering tinkling on the keyboards.
The set continues with “Emergency” (Tearing Down the Walls, 2014), with an audience singing its chorus with pure emotion.
“Rise” (H.E.A.T II, 2020) with Dalone’s guitar leads, makes us extreme!
Then it would be time for the live debut, the incredible Running to You, a song that I particularly love!!!
Leckremo’s vocal range is on full display, this guy’s voice is incredible.

After a wonderful “Beg Beg Beg” (Freedom Rock, 2010), where the audience doesn’t stop singing, with amazing Dalone and Tee trade solos.

The band leaves the stage for a moment, and it would be the turn of the great Don Crash with a drum solo that would make the venue vibrate.

Then, as the final cymbal crash rings out, the band explodes into “Back to the Rhythm” (Force Majeure, 2022).
The classic Ole Ole from the Argentinian audience thrilled the band. We had moments where Kenny came down from the stage to approach his fans, and almost at the end of the show, he climbed up onto the bar to sing from up there with the crowd.
Closing with “A Shot at Redemption,” the audience was happy and eagerly awaiting Kenny’s promised return! A magical, glamorous night, redolent with an ’80s feel, one we won’t soon forget!
