Halestorm in Argentina, When a singer’s voice can shatter even the strongest glass.

March 29, Teatro Gran Rivadavia, Argentina

After 10 years since their last visit, the band led by rock queen Lizzy Hale returned to the country. Halestorm was founded in 1997 with her brother, Arejay, when they were just children.

After hearing the fans chanting along to the band’s songs while we waited in the venue for the amazing concert that was about to begin,

At 9 o’clock sharp, Arejay Hale appeared on stage behind the drums, followed by the rest of the band. When Lzzy entered, the audience erupted in screams! The first chords of “I Get Off” began (to the surprise of many, since it’s worth noting that the band changes the order of the songs in their setlist at each show). The stage presence was incredible, the sound was clean and perfect, and Lzzy’s voice—what can I say about her voice? It could shatter the strongest glass with every scream.

Then came “Love Bites (So Do I)”, another huge hit, but one of the band’s gems was yet to come, right from the start with “I Miss the Misery”, which sent the fans into a frenzy, singing with all their might. What a way to start this great night!

The adorable Lzzy says on more than one occasion, “Los quiero mucho” in Spanish.

WE had a short tribute to the great Ozzy Osbourne, the band’s main inspiration, with “Perry Mason,” and at the end, the fans could be heard shouting “Ozzy! Ozzy!”

Lzzy dedicated her song “Like a Woman Can” to all Argentinian women, performing it on the piano without completely abandoning the guitar.

Later, it was Arejay’s turn for a drum solo, showcasing his incredible talent and making the entire venue vibrate.

To close the first part of the show, none other than the huge Everest, personally speaking, one of my favorites, what a spectacular song, and how Lzzy performs it!!!! She left us breathless!

The guys left the stage for a few moments and began the famous chants of “one more.”

The band returned with “Freak Like Me,” a song that couldn’t be missing, after a toast led by Lzzy: to the audience, to the band, and to rock. Then came “Here’s to Us,” with which they would close the night, but before that, Lzzy put on an Argentina national football team jersey, to a great ovation from the audience.

Halestorm’s stage presence was flawless, with Lzzy reaching high notes we never imagined she could perform live. Her ability to alternate between power and emotion left us speechless and eager for their return as soon as possible!
