Insomnium First time in Argentina

Last Saturday, December 7th, The Melodic Death Metal Band from Finland Insomnium visited Argentina for the first time after almost 30 years of career.

Opening the local Heavy Power Metal band Innerforce tuning 10 years, After 2022 / 2023 of growth, where they opened bands like Alestorm (with shows in Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil), Enforcer, Evil Invaders, Angra (in Uruguay) having made their tour in Brazil, This time they had to support Insomnium, they sound incredibly well live if you haven’t heard them yet, we highly recommend them.

And the wait is over, the Finnish INSOMNIUM, led by Niilo Sevänen, made their long-awaited debut in Argentina, starting with “1969”(released in 2023), Continuing with “Valediction”, a song from their album Heart Like a Grave (2019). The excitement of their fans was evident on their faces, enjoying every song, jumping, and singing with all passion.
Niilo interacted a lot with the audience, showing gratitude for the beautiful reception from his fans, and saying how happy he was to be in Argentina for the first time.

On set, we had a lot of the band’s latest, but we also got to enjoy some classics.
It is worth highlighting the friendliness and warmth (despite living in such a cold country) of each member of the band, with the funny gestures of Markus Vanhala (guitar).

After a short break, the band returned to the stage to close with three wonderful songs “The Primeval Dark”, “While We Sleep”, and “Heart Like a Grave”.
The fans were fascinated and excited, waiting for the promised return of the band soon.
