KERRY KING The thrash metal legend was present in Argentina
Friday night, people drinking some beers and listening to classical songs on the speakers of the Teatro Flores, we were waiting for the moment that Kerry King showed up on the stage to show us what he has done since thrash metal was born there in the 80s Up to date.
Opening the evening the local Thrash metal band Manifiesto, With powerful sounds, showing us why they were chosen to open for the legend Kerry King, they warmed up their engines!
And so, with the same rage, enthusiasm, and bad vibe he put those riffs over us to become kids again. With speed in his fingers, his serious face, and the legends who joined him they performed songs from his new record that was very well received. With songs like “ Everything I Hate About You”, “ Toxic”, and “ Residue” that the audience sang shouting and jumping in a mosh pit that never stopped the entire night and some covers of Iron Maiden and Slayer like the ultra classic ” Raining Blood” turning all the red the sky and the venue of Buenos Aires showed that the power of Kerry riffs is still unleashing the violence and madness in the audience like always was. The band was very powerful, making riffs like “ Trophies of the Tirant” or “ Two Fist” with its punk rocker vibe shaking the entire theater. Paul Bostaph was a sort of machine with no resting, Kyle Anders and Phil Demmel gave more power and strength to the riffs that seemed shooting bullets to the thrasher party the violent mosh was. Mark Osegeda had the perfect attitude and strength in his voice to develop the show like it deserves and making melodies like the chorus of “Purgatory” of Maiden has a unique vibe.

And so, the evenings were done among shouts, beats, thrashers riffs, and glasses with beer in the air to celebrate that our dear King had come to Argentina to give us what we love so much with the same indisputable attitude, our beloved thrash metal.
