Mother Mother in Argentina Oct 25th

Last Friday, October 25th the Canadian Alternative Rock band MOTHER MOTHER, led by Ryan Guldemond (guitarist and lead vocalist), returned to Argentina, at the, C Complejo Art Media, after their resounding success in their first visit at the Lollapalooza 2023.

A stormy afternoon did not stop their fans from arriving at the venue to enjoy an unforgettable night.

Opening the evening the local band Dum Chica, formed in 2021, Juana Inés Gallardo, Lucila Storino, and Ramiro Pampin, They gave it their all on stage, they sound great live, and we recommend them.

With a wonderful light show, vocalists and keyboardists Molly Guldemond and Jasmin Parkin took the stage, and behind them came frontman Ryan Guldemond, and the crowd exploded.

Starting with their successful hist “Nobody Escapes” Continuing with “Arms Tonite” and the famous track “Hayloft II” With an audience singing along to every song, their euphoria, fervor, and excitement increased song after song.

Thanking the fans for their affection and the constant support they have received over the years, Ryan took a moment to remind the audience that, in this show, they were the protagonists.

The fans threw up an Argentinian flag, and it was beautiful to see Ryan take it and say “I will always have it with me” while hanging it on his guitar. And so it was! Throughout the show, Ryan was proud with our flag on his guitar.

We had moments where Molly and Jasmine gave us some dance moves.

Then we had the emotional moment of the night with an acoustic set. Extracts from “Dirty Town”, “Neighbour”, and “It’s Alright”, among others, were played.

Almost finished, we had the pleasure of hearing Ryan say that this was one of the best shows of his life and that he placed it in the top 3! Something that excited his fans a lot.

After a short encore, the band returned to the stage to end this unique night with “Grief Chapter”, “Burning Pile”.

The fans were amazed. In my case, as I am used to covering metal shows, and not so much alternative rock, I was able to enjoy a great show, fun, interactive, and with a band that knows how to give their best.
