Sixpence None the Richer in Argentina “Millennial Nostalgia”
On a cold Saturday night, just days before winter begins, I arrived at Groove to experience an unforgettable evening for millennials.
Accustomed to covering concerts of “heavy rock” bands, today would be completely different.
It was almost 9 p.m. with an audience eager to see their favorite band perform for the first time in Argentina.
The long-awaited moment arrived: Leigh Nash, Matt Slocum, Justin Cary, and Dale Baker took the stage. Leigh, with a lovely smile, the band began to play “Angeltread.”
With an audience very much in the style of the band, they performed with great elegance, and you could see them enjoying each song with great emotion.
Leigh constantly interacted with the audience, expressing her happiness at visiting the country for the first time and thanking her fans for their love. She did so with an angelic, sweet, beautiful, and unique voice, as well as an engaging stage presence.

Heading towards the end of the set, the audience was treated to Six Pence None The Richer’s biggest hits back to back. First their smash cover of The La’s “There She Goes”. So many memories flashed into my head. They followed “There She Goes” with their number one hit, “Kiss Me”. It was pretty clear that this was their song.
It only remains to say that we lived a night full of memories, emotions, and nostalgia, and we hope for their return soon!
