The Devil Wears Prada in Argentina, A Night with True Metal Core
It was a cold evening in Buenos Aires, marching to what would be an unforgettable night of pure metalcore.
After a long wait following their last visit, the Americans from The Devil Wears Prada returned to the country to rock El Teatrito!.
To warm up the engines, there were two national bands, Hacia el Ocaso (a metalcore and post-hardcore band formed in 2014), with contagious energy, continuing with Renacer del Tiempo. What a wonderful show these guys put on!

Renacer Del Tiempo
Now yes!! The long-awaited moment of the night had arrived, not just of the night, but for years. The Devil Wears Prada took the stage with their characteristic friendliness, starting with Watchtower, one of the band’s best songs (at least for me, a faithful listener for years). The audience’s excitement and fervor were felt instantly!
From the beginning, going through wonderful and powerful songs like Salt, Broken, and Ritual, we started to see mosh pits, jumps, screams, and the night became more and more exciting.
Mike’s intense breakdowns, screams, gutturals ran through our veins in every song. With Jeremy on guitar and second vocals, who is in charge of singing the “sweet moments”, a professionalism from both is unmatched.
The night’s “touchy-feely” moment came with “For You,” where Jeremy asked to dim the lights and for the fans to light up the venue with their cell phones.
The end was approaching with Chemical and the great Sacrifice, a song that caused an explosion in the crowd.
The band leaves the stage for a few moments, but not everything is over. What would now be the end of the show arrived, with two songs that were good for the old school fans, Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over, and Hey John, What’s Your Name Again?
The band in general sounds wonderfully good live, with a fun, constant interaction with their fans, and a setlist that has not left out any of the band’s hits, which left their fans more than satisfied. We just hope it doesn’t take them too long to return to the country!
