Tim “Ripper” Owens Rocked the Saturday Night
May 17th, El Teatrito, Argentina
What a night, friends!! One night where the Argentinian steel had kicked the venue with local bands that sounded and performed his sets very powerfully and with high settings perfectly the mood for the great Tim “Ripper” Owens to come to the stage and melt the head of The crowd as he does since his apparition in those great Judas priest’s albums Jugulator, Demolition and the Live meltdown with his screams and melodies in an increíble performance. The setlist was what we already could wait for, and the Ripper’s voice kicked ass from the beginning to the end of the evening as we imagined as well. One night when we all in the audience want to be “Ripper” we try to reach out those high notes as he does in the glorious “Burn in hell” the heavy “One on One” or the kicking ass “Bloodstained” for example. The musicians who joined Tim did a perfect job performing the song with great ability,

Feeling, and the best humor just like “Ripper” who handled the moment that bass broke with a vibe and professionalism performing some songs “a little bit more quiet” like “Beyond the realms of death” making it seem like nothing is happening. The evening passed among Judas’s classics like “Green manalishi”, “Electric Eye”, “where the Eagles Cry” by Ice Heart, “Writchild” by Iron Maiden in honor of Paul Di’Anno, Kk’ Priest Songs like “Hellfire Thunderbolt” or “One more shot at glory” and moments like“Living after midnight” performed a little bit slower than the original version had a special vibe making a real rocker party with his voice like the best host. Again, the show was terrific and Tim did an amazing performance making all those things we had been waiting for with an awesome skill making it seem the time doesn’t pass to his voice keeping those classic songs in full validity.
