JINJER rocked Tempe AZ, last April 25th

With Sick New World on everyone’s mind, the states surrounding Nevada got a bunch of one-off shows, and Arizona had a lot to choose.
Jinjer came through Tempe AZ at the Marquee Theater to what seemed like a sold-out crowd. Jinjer is a solid metalcore band on nearly every level! Going from screaming to beautiful singing. Their breakdowns are as heavy as they come, and they break it down with that unique melodic experimental jazz.

Jinjer took the stage right at 9 pm to a very foggy and blue stage! The last time Jinjer was here was at the end of 2022 and while we didn’t get the same huge stage production it honestly didn’t matter. Jinjer’s music speaks for itself! They’re nothing less than a well-oiled machine that’s just as precise as Meshuggah. Tatiana is a commander on stage and her stage presence is just as evil as beautiful. One of the unique aspects of watching Jinjer live is their bass player Eugene. As I was looking around, I definitely saw some people focused on Eugene, I mean how could you not, he has to be one of the top 10 bass players in the world! Every time I’ve seen Jinjer it seems as if Roman (guitar) is normally roaming around in the dark parts of the stage just thrashing away at his guitar. I was surprised to see him at the forefront of the stage foot up on the speaker headbanging. Jinjer keeps on gaining momentum climbing the metal ladder and selling out the Marquee theater on a Thursday night tells you how strong their fan base is.
