PALAYE ROYALE, In Argentina “For you Stephanie”
Palaye Royale arrived in Argentina for the first time. For listeners and fans of the band for years, myself included, the wait was long, even more so after postponing the January tour date to May, but they finally arrived in the country!
I’d like to dedicate this review to the beloved Stephanie Cowper, mother and former manager of Remington, Sebastian, and Emerson, with whom I had the privilege of speaking on more than one occasion when we were just starting with SUNRAY. She was always so kind, humble, loving, and respectful. She sadly passed away last year. This is for you, Stephanie! All our love to your memory!
Last Thursday, May 14th, Palaye Royale performed at Uniclub, to give one of the best shows of the year. With a venue packed with fans, mostly young people and teens, waiting for them, Remington, Sebastian, Emerson, and the rest of the band took the stage, and the crowd exploded with screams, jumps, and excitement at the sight! Starting with “You’ll Be Fine” (Album Boom Boom Room 2018) and continuing with “Death or Glory,” Remington took the Argentine flag with much love before starting!

Then it was time for the big hit, “No Love in LA,” a song that had us all dancing!
When it was Showbiz’s turn Remington climbed onto the fans’ hands to sing along with them. And the audience went crazy!
Something to highlight, if today we have to talk about a rock star, who could be defined as ShowMan we must mention Remington Leith, he is not only a great singer, but he is a true artist, he has a total dedication to his fans, risking his physical integrity by jumping off the stage to be close to his fans on more than one occasion during the concert, the interaction he has with the audience is not very seen in any other artist, and that speaks of his humility and passion with which he does his job!

Of course, we must mention the number of times he told fans how grateful he was for their love, and when he loved them!

On the guitar, of course, the great Sebastian, always with his professionalism and friendliness that makes him stand out!

And this time in almost the entire show on the keyboard, the sweet and shy (little brother) Emerson.

For us old-school fans of the band, we had the pleasure of enjoying “Hang On to Yourself”, and “Fucking With My Head” (as a follower of the band for over 8 years, I recognize that they unfortunately left out several songs that I waited to hear live for years).
Ahh! But it wasn’t just Remington who came down from the stage more than once to share with his fans, but also little Emerson, who surprised us by jumping off the stage for a mosh pit with his fans.

When it was time to play “Lonely,” the band took a break for a moment, and Remington took over the keyboard to begin the song! A beautiful moment.
Near the end of the concert, Remington steps off the stage and goes up to the VIP section to jump from there! A shocking and exciting moment for the crowd.
Of course, they had to close with their big hit, which we were all waiting for, “Mr. Doctor Man” where Emerson took over the drums and gave it his all!!
It wasn’t just another show, it was a unique show that we’re not used to seeing, with an unparalleled interaction with the audience. Dear Stephanie, your children are exactly what you wanted, all your effort paid off, amazing artists, great professionals, talented, successful, and most importantly incredible human beings!
