Till Lindemann, October 12th Arizona
Till Lindemann, Twin Temple, and Aesthetic Perfection invade Chandler, AZ, at the Gila River Casino events center.
We all know who Till Lindermann is (Rammstein, Lindermann). The ever-so eccentric, overly sexual front man brought his solo project to the States, and he did not disappoint. A soccer field at the Gilda River Events Center was host to this over-the-top concert.
Till Lindemann and co couldn’t have put on a better show, and the band itself was dynamic and militantly tight. The music itself ranges from industrial metal to sweet serenades, mostly about vagina. The visuals behind the band alone were eye-catching and not as pornographic as people made them out to be. The biggest complaint I got about this tour was the visuals playing in the background and how they were too much. Honestly, what else would you expect from Till Lindemann? He’s from the fetish capital of the world and has never shied away from his sexual nature! At one point there was a collage of vaginas, and I mean hundreds of them! While the band yelled CUNT in the background! The one thing that really stood out musically was how heavy Till Lindermann was at times. They had some parts when you had no choice but to put on the metal face and head bang away. If you’ve never been to a Till concert, I wouldn’t suggest being up front unless cake flying at your face is one of your kinks. There’s also fish and little red balls being shot out of a hand cannon. The fish was the most surprising thing being thrown around.
As the night came to an end. No one in the crowd wanted this night to fade away. The production, the music, and the musicians were all at their best this night!
