Coroner Rocked the Sarturday Night
March 28th, Arena Sur Argentina
its been a long time waiting for Coroner to get our country. Since some failed visit up to date we never gave up about it. And finally, one day, the moment had arrived!! On Arena Sur of Buenos Aires local bands showing up their performances while the Argentinian thrashers were coming into the venue.
The sound on the stage would improve minute by minute and the expectations were growing at the same time. Thorax, Pucará and Dark Warrior gave us their aggressive thrash metal discharge setting the mood for the moment that we waited so Long. and finally happened!! Between the smoke and no light on the stage, Coroner came out to melt our heads. satisfaction and happiness in our faces and the band as well. the sound was perfect for those riffs we love to hit our chest.
This beast of thrash metal technical still in a great performance and so songs like the classic “Masked jackal”,”Reborn through hate” or one new song of their album that will come out in October this year sounded powerful, fresh and louded. In the crowd we were freaking out about the show!!
The mosh pit, the screams, our faces hypnotized just looking at the fingers of the great Tommy Vetterli performing the riffs of “Semtex revolution” and some improvisation he did, the headbanging on “Serpent moves”!! That trio was on fire!!! and next to them Reiz trigger who is with the band since its return adding sounds from his sort of keyboard and he looked in a real good mood just looking at his smile. to Diego Rappachietti on drums, what a killer!! The way that he played “ Divine step” was a craze!!! They played “Die by my hand” and the audience went crazy one more time!!! Ron Royce shows up kind of serious but at the same time kind, happy and satisfied as we mentioned before. In the end of the concert, he said thanks to the promoters and thanks especially to us, the Coroner’s fan who finally made this show a dream come true and told his wishes about to come back. So if we need to wait just like we did it to live such a concert like that, we will do it.
