Cryptopsy and Atheist at the Teatrito Argentina

At the venue “Teatrito” where many bands have been playing, it being February 21st and being the first festival of the year with Argentine bands of the thrash metal genre and international ones, they made people talk in the congress neighborhood.

It all started at 6:40 p.m. with the first Argentine band called “Morferus,“ a band that is dedicated to telling a little of the country’s darkest history with its musical touch.

The second band “Lesa Humanidad” which has a large audience and you could see how people were already warming up for what would later arrive as the main course, is a band that, due to various work, study, and personal problems, finds it difficult to be able to play often, was something their singer said.

The third national band was “Dislepsia“ which had the same singer who was in the first band, although at times they had problems with the mic, they knew how to overcome that obstacle and played with all the force of Argentine death metal.

The moment arrived “Atheist” came out on stage with impressive force, demonstrating that the years on stage are demonstrated with each song they played, Kelly with all her charisma and a basketball shirt with the name of the band and a 913 on her back. The second voice, which is in charge of “Yoav Ruiz”, who is their bassist, could be seen going from side to side, showing the bass to the audience and shouting at the top of his lungs for them to make circles and giving encouragement to the choirs.
“Atheist” reviewed all his hits making a list of more than 16 songs, for example.

Among other things, making people jump in a circle pit and with joy among the public and all the members of the band. In this way, at 10:20 p.m. it would be the turn that the entire venue was waiting for, Cryptosy, with a full “theater” The curtain opened giving the appearance of the band little by little, on the screen behind the drums you could see the cover of the latest album titled “As Gomorrah Burns” which is composed of a skull bat with horns plus a smoke effect. Opening the show with “Slit Your Guts” which is from the band’s second album, I was showing that this show was going to give a lot to talk about because the band has a technique both in the studio and live.
At the end of the song “Flo Mounier” had destroyed the drums to the staff had to go into action and be able to solve the issue, meanwhile “Matt McGrachy” took the time to say a few words to the Argentine audience: “Hello Buenos Aires, this is the first time in 30 years that we have set foot here, we appreciate the welcome, we love playing the guitar and singing for you, we appreciate this love on the tour through Latin America, for singing and celebrating our songs, we hope to return”, when we finished solving the problem, “Lascivious Undivine” began to play, the song from the band’s latest album, “Christian Donaldson”, every time he screamed, he could see his eyes rolling white.
“Matt’s” voice is one of the most recognized in death and seeing his technique live is very surprising, both from how he moves his lips for each note and even making a brutal scream of more than 10 seconds and saying that he was just a little bit closer to breaking his record.
Every time the band stopped, they thanked the audience for their love, and in each song they asked everyone to circle pit below, to which the audience responded in the best way in each song—playing 11 songs and giving hope for a new visit by the band to our country.
