Fabio Lione at the Uniclub Argentina

FABIO LIONE performed in Capital Federal, more precisely in Uniclub, as part of his Río de la Plata Tour 2024, where he had toured the cities of Cipoletti, Bahía Blanca, Córdoba, and Rosario to perform on the night of Saturday 21 in Capital Federal, and where their tour would culminate in Montevideo, Uruguay, to delight us with songs from their former bands, Rhapsody Of Fire, Vision Divine, and his current band Angra, adding classics of Rock and Metal, which would surprise more than one, in a spectacular show, organized by NOISEGROUND, on a night to remember forever.
The evening began with the opening of the local group INNERFORCE, a high-level Power Metal band that has experience sharing the stage with international artists, and who gave an explosive show.
Around 9 pm it was FABIO LIONE’s turn, accompanied by his formation of Argentine musicians, comprised of Pehuén Berdun (ex Plan 4, current Hermanos de Sangre), Chino Gastaldi (Hermanos de Sangre) both on guitars, Patricia Flores (ex Fin de una Era) on bass and Ulises Ochova (Nvlo) on drums.

Along with this formation that accompanied Fabio throughout the tour, they started the show with one of the classics from Rhapsody Of Fire, “Dawn of Victory”, and then began with a medley of covers such as “Wasted Years” by Iron Maiden, “Judgement day” by Whitesnake, “Forever” by Kamelot, “Tearts of the dragon” by Bruce Dickinson, “You give love a bad name” by Bon Jovi, where the songs from Vision Divine, “Send me an angel” and “Violet loneliness” later appeared.
The great songs from Rhapsody returned with “Land of Immortal”, “The Village of Dwarves” and “Wisdom of the Kings”. The soul of the steel maiden returned with “The Evil That Men Do”, followed by one of the greatest classics of love, “Still Loving You” by Scorpions.

The classics from Angra, his current band, could not be missed, where he performed “Nova era” and “Rebirth”. As if that were not enough, and so that there is no doubt that Fabio is capable of covering all styles, he also performed the classics “The Final Countdown” from Europe, and the impressive “The show must go on” from the great legendary band Queen.
The talent and operatic vocal technique of the great Lione was dazzled in the great Rhapsody song, sung in Italian, “Lamento eroico”, to culminate his great performance with “Holy Thunderforce” and “Emerald Sword”, the two most emblematic songs of Rhapsody Of Fire, that epic band that put Fabio at the top of the Metal voices.

Fabio Lione interacted with the audience at all times, speaking purely Spanish, having come from Italy and currently based in a band in Brazil, and singing the songs, most of them in English, which demonstrates not only his wide musical and vocal repertoire, but also his ability to cover different languages, and between songs he told us stories about each song, its composition, and the occasional anecdote, which kept us in suspense all night long for this show that will go down in history.
