Lamb of God performed at the Arizona Financial Theater in Phoenix, AZ.
It was Easter Sunday, an ideal day for some metal mayhem. While many were celebrating Jesus and hunting for Easter eggs, Lamb of God unleashed chaos and the pure American metal sound we have come to adore. The opening acts were equally brutal, featuring Sanguisugabogg, Kublai Khan TX, and Fit For An Autopsy.
Lamb of God releasd their tenth studio album, ‘Into Oblivion’ in March with century records and epic records. We got this massive tour to back it up. Lamb of God took the stage around 9:45 PM, erupting in a wave of fury. Randy was on a rampage, and you could feel the intensity immediately. He held nothing back, and the entire band matched his energy. Randy appeared possessed and incredibly angry, which was exactly what we needed at that moment. If there were ever a perfect face for metal, it was Randy on this night. I’m not sure if this intensity stemmed from recent events or the current political climate, but the crowd responded and followed his lead. The mosh pit seemed relentless, with fans consistently crowd surfing over the barricade.
The tour stop in Arizona was far from brief as the audience was completely captivated and invigorated. Every time I’ve had the pleasure of seeing LOG live, they have left a lasting impression and this event was no different. The energy in the venue was palpable, with fans singing along and fully immersed in the experience, showcasing the band’s ability to connect with their audience on a profound level. One of LOG’s strengths is their ability to connect with their fans. Those who purchased the VIP package enjoyed the experience of being in the photo pit, positioned right next to the stage. This stop was nothing short of what Lamb of God represents and brings to the table. It was essential LOG that we all needed in our lives and we got exactly what we paid for. Do not miss this tour.
