Saturday night, a party with Lörihen
Last Saturday, September 14th, we had the pleasure to enjoy a beautiful evening, One of the most iconic Heavy Power metal bands in Argentina, Lörihen, founded almost 30 years ago by guitarist Emiliano Obregón, made the Teatro Flores vibrate.
The opening bands were three wonderful: the local “Leon de Praga” with an incredible performance, and two very talented bands from Uruguay: Crepar, a hard rock band formed in 1998, giving it all on stage, and Rey Toro, a Thrash metal, Hard rock, and Heavy metal band also formed in 1998. The first time I saw them live, I was dazzled.
CREPAR
REY TORO
Everyone was waiting for what was coming. The Lörihen party was about to begin, starting with “Gritos de Libertad” from the recently released album “La Magia del Caos.” Something that the photographers commented on from the beginning, and of course that I could notice, is the wonderful lights, which allow you to see the spectacle at 100%.
The conquering and perfect voice of Lucas Gerardo, the wonderful riffs of the band’s founding guitarist Emiliano Obregón, the genius of Cristian Abarca on bass, and the powerful sound of the drums by Leo Dobao, made the audience not stop jumping, singing, and getting excited with each song.
The evening had many guests, among them, Brenda Jezabel (from BloodParade) dressed as a metal nun, and her powerful voice, also we had Walter Meza (Vocalist of Horcas).
The emotional moment of the night was when the former Malvinas combatants shared the stage with the band (with the song “FRÍAS ISLAS”)
Then Lucas told his fans that they would be on an international tour through Mexico! (national pride)
Almost closing, being a show for the whole family, there were many children, whom the band invited to come up on stage, a beautiful moment.
It was a wonderful show, which has nothing to envy of international shows!
