Silverstein hit the scene in 2000, and they did it first. I still remember the day my guitar player introduced me to ‘When broken is easily fixed’ I was instantly hooked on their sound. It was truly a staple to the scene. Silverstein went on to record over a dozen albums and continue a long career in the music industry. Regardless of changes in the industry, Silverstein continued. on and with that true, unapologetic post-hardcore sound. Opening up the show with a clip from the past to now. They really concentrated on making sure that The fans knew how thankful they were for all the years of support.
This was a set list to die for covering all the years of the band’s collection, and they did flawlessly. There were tears and screams from the fans that were louder than the band, head banging, and a venue full of people who all came together to Sing along.
This was truly a night of unity and leaving all their problems at the door. Silverstein cleansed our soul this night. There were multiple parents that had their kids, and the address at this site ranged from 6 to over 50. This speaks volume on the impact that Silverstein has had musically on all of us! Plus, There’s something about seeing parents bringing their kids to shows that sends a message, that with music everything is going to be ok, especially if it’s Silverstein’s music! No one in the venue wanted this night to end, but unfortunately it had to. come to that. Ending the night with Bleeds no more was the perfect way to close out the night. Screaming, “My heart bleeds no more. “
