Is the EMO Era invading 2026? Alesana in Argentina
Marching to the Uniclub, we could see the large number of fans in their “EMO” outfits queuing up, waiting to see Alesana’s return to Argentina with their tour dedicated to their iconic album “The Emptiness”.
Opening the evening was the local post-hardcore band “Portland”, with energetic and emotional sounds that made the venue vibrate.
The lights went out, and the fans were already getting more and more excited. When the curtain opened, the screams began, and Alesana took the stage with incredible power!
Starting with the huge hit “Curse Of The Virgin Canvas,” the euphoria of the audition was unleashed! The interaction with his fans was so sweet; Shawn Milke’s charisma is unique. What a fun and talented person! With his angelic voice, accompanied by Dennis Lee’s devilish screams, the mosh pits got more and more intense in a completely sold-out venue!
Some fans started going up on stage, which the band took very well; Dennis even offered them his hand to help them up.
A beautiful moment was when they threw down a flag with the album cover, but… with Messi in the center—a lovely creation by the president of their fan club in Argentina.
Unlike a traditional set, there were no strategic pauses to insert classics and raise the euphoria, so the commitment was total to go through a whole album.
The band left the stage for a few moments, and the fans began to shout, “One more! One more!” Of course, they returned and played their ever-present anthem, Apology!

Hola buenas tardes, soy el presidente del FC en Argentina, Sinceramente fue una noche inolvidable, mejor incluso que la del 2024 en cuestión del show, no hubo problema de sonido está vez, la gente estaba más emocionada y eufórica, fue algo tan pasional, algo memorable por siempre, los chicos como siempre dieron todo en el escenario y fueron muy amables y cariñosos con sus fans, por eso los amamos, porque más allá de ser buenos músicos y crear excelentes canciones, son increíbles seres humanos y eso, es mejor que cualquier otra cosa, siempre los vamos a recibir con los brazos más que abiertos en nuestro país y vamos a hacer crecer mas y más el FC y la idea que tuvimos con Martín el Vice -Presidente fue un espectáculo, salió hermoso todo, en lo personal, me gustaría poder llegar a recibirlos no en Uniclub, sino en un lugar todavía mas grande y que los m&g sean más largos ya que poder acceder a ellos requiere de un gran sacrificio económico por el poco tiempo que fueron ambas veces, sin mencionar que la vez pasada nos sacaban una foto la Camarógrafa de la Banda con su cámara profesional individualmente a cada uno de los fans con la banda completa. Nos daban una pulsera de goma que brilla en la oscuridad muy muy bonita que dice “Alesana Latín América Tour 2024” y un poster para que nos firmen. Los m&g deben de ser de 2 minutos por persona con la banda para que justamente en esos 3 minutos uno le pueda decir unas cositas, conseguir varios autógrafos, no 1 y la foto, literalmente duro ambas veces, 2024 y 2026, mucho más la espera post m&g hasta las bandas teloneras que fue de 1hs que el m&g, eso no puede pasar.
Toda la mala administración fue de parte de Noiseground y Uniclub, ya que incluso el Mánager de la banda regalo entradas a algunos fans que no había podido ahorrar, ya que estamos en época de vacaciones y mucha gente se quedó con lo justo en el bolsillo, en agregado de que cuando fui personalmente junto con el vice -presidente al hotel donde se estaban alojando, los miembros de la banda fueron EXTREMADAMENTE amables con nosotros, se quedaron hablando 10 minutos cada uno con nosotros y nos tomamos fotos y nos dieron muchísimos autógrafos (Dennis, Patrick, Shane y Jake) porque fuimos con respeto, modales y ubicación y ellos estaban encantados, un poco más y nos íbamos a comer un asado y tomar algo, enserio eh, así que bueno. lamento que mí comentario haya sido así, pero quiero aclarar la totalidad de los hechos y expresar lo que muchos del FC queríamos decir, tanto lo bueno, como lo malo, en lo personal recolecte varios autógrafos en el m&g y hotel para la gente que no haya podido ir y por lo menos sería algo antes que nada, ya que yo pienso totalmente para los fans y para la banda, no para mí y mis proyectos personales, pongo de mí hasta dónde puedo porque estoy completamente comprometido con esta hermosa causa llamada Alesana.
