A DeathCore night with Chelsea Grin in Argentina

Last Friday, Nov 15th Chelsea Grin returned to Argentina, to perform at the Groove.

Opening the evening 2 local bands, “Descarnado” founded in 2010, the metal band showed us How powerful it can be on stage.

Continuing with the Argentine DeathCore band “Nvlo”, formed in 2018, with a pandemic in between, and a short career still, the boys have achieved indisputable success, touring the world, and opening for big bands, Nvlo grows day by day, their fans in the venue were crazy, with a mosh pit that looked like a martial arts exhibition, the night started with all the energy.

The long-awaited moment of the night was coming, the lights dimmed and Chelsea Grin took the stage. Starting very high up with the “Hostage” song from their album “Eternal Nightmare” (2018) Immediately the mosh pit took power. Continuing with “The Isnis” from ‘Suffer in Hell’ (2022), one of their most successful recent tracks.

One of the most intense moments of the night came, when they performed “My Damnation,” with unmatched riffs and the powerful voice of Tom Barber, They made the audience’s fervor grow and the mosh became more aggressive and immense.
Almost without interacting with the fans, because their way of interacting is giving everything in each song without a break.

Making a tour of their repertoire, they closed the evening with “Recreant”, making the audience jump, scream, and get excited with the mosh pit at full speed.
The only “bad” thing I have to point out is that the show was a bit short, less than an hour, which left fans expectant for their soon return, which was perhaps what the band wanted to cause, despite that, it was a night of pure Deathcore!
