And the long-awaited moment arrived, for years, Saratoga on the Argentine stages, the curtain opens and the eccentric Tete Novoa appears on stage.
Starting with “San Telmo 1940”, a song from the album “El clan de la Lucha” released in 2004, The fans’ fervor was there from the very first moment, singing along to every song.
Tete is a real showman, he knows how to entertain the audience with his funny comments. He requested that the stage lights be turned off and that the audience only use their flashlights to illuminate, the beautiful song “Lejos de Ti” began.
Something wonderful to highlight about the show, was we had solos from each of its members, going through the wonderful sound of the drums by the hand of “Arnau Martí”, then “Niko del Hierro”, with a bass solo demonstrating unquestionable perfection. “Parra del Riego”, (Peruvian guitarist who is accompanying them on this South American tour) With his solo that has left us breathless. And finally the incomparable “Charlie Parra” with some riffs that gave us goosebumps.
The Show Continued with “Si Amaneciera”, “No Sufriré Jamás por Ti”, “Ave Fenix” y “Como el Viento”, with the crowd singing non-stop and making huge mosh pits.
The beloved Tete jumped toward the fans, singing with his powerful voice, to the audience, an epic moment of the night.
When we all thought the show was over, the audience started shouting “’Perro Traidor’… ‘Perro Traidor’…”, (cheering the famous song) for which reason Tete asked Charly to start playing it.
It was an unforgettable show, we can only say it was worth the wait!
